I just noticed that I got a premium membership sent to me at random from two months ago.

It's nice to know that there are generous people out still around

Since he only has 5 submissions of his own, I'll feature my favourite one, and knowing me of course it's a cat

 

My angiogram showed that I have no blockage at all! That is such a relief. They say it was more than likely just heartburn or muscle spasam. I never knew those things could be so painful and scary.

I keep this one short.

I go for my Angiogram on Thurs. Aug. 21 @ 7:00 a.m. Registering and prep must take 2 hours because the actual test is not until 9:00 a.m.

Here's hoping all goes well.

I finally went for my stress test on Wednesday. Pretty scary test. I won't describe it all here, but for those who want to know what's involved. www.stmichaelshospital.com/pro…  Anyway the Cardiologist called me today and said it does look like I may have a blockage in one my blood vessels leading to my heart. I now have to wait for his secretary to call me when my Angiogram is scheduled.

I got a big scare last night. I was just sitting at my computer when I started getting severe chest pains. At first I thought it was really bad indigestion and took something for that and it did nothing. I called my daughter from the next room and told her what was happening. Things started getting worse. I was in a sweat from head to toe and I felt like I was going to pass out. At that point my daughter called an ambulance. They immediately started treating me as if I was having a heart attack. That in itself scared me even more. At the emergency they treated me in the same manner.  I had to have two sets of blood work done, so I was there for around 8 hours. The end result is they think its more my arteries than my heart. So I have to go see a Cardiologist and have what's called a Necular Stress Test. Sounds delightful. In the mean time I was told to rest as best I can. I feel quite normal now, but I will do as I am told. I will try to keep all my dear friends here on dA updated.
